All product image guides Google Merchant Center AI product images

Check the file as well as the picture.

A generated product scene needs more than a visual signoff before entering a Shopping feed. Check its AI-origin metadata, the exact product it represents, and the hosted image URL. Fayvoro download metadata has not been verified against Google’s requirement.

What this shows

Visual quality does not verify origin metadata.

This output shows a real scene-generation attempt. It does not establish that the final downloaded or hosted file contains the required metadata. Keep the accurate source photo available while you verify the complete delivery path.

Live Fayvoro resultA live generation, not a submitted Shopping image. Its AI-origin metadata, hosted-feed delivery, and Merchant Center acceptance have not been verified.

This is one demonstration result; your result may differ. AI can change product shape, color, packaging, labels, and text. Check every important detail against the real item.

02 / A PRACTICAL WORKFLOWSTART WITH YOUR PHOTO
01

Keep the AI-origin requirement with the file

Google requires generative-AI images to contain the IPTC DigitalSourceType tag identifying AI origin, using TrainedAlgorithmicMedia, and says to preserve embedded origin metadata. Treat a visible AI caption and a file-metadata inspection as separate checks.

Check the final file, not just the first download: an editor, re-export, or hosting pipeline may change it. Ask the person preparing the feed to inspect the appropriate metadata field and retain evidence of what was checked. If it is missing or unknown, resolve that before submitting the generated asset or use a suitable real photograph.

Review the color-space export — Keep the approved master, convert a web copy and inspect the delivered color profile.

Keep food-pack facts in original views — Preserve exact package identity, readable information panels and a separate serving presentation.

02

Assign the image to the right feed role

The image_link attribute identifies the main product image. Alternative views can use additional_image_link, and an in-context representation can use lifestyle_image_link. Google lists these roles for AI images too; the origin requirement still applies.

Choose the role from the asset’s purpose. A calm room does not provide an unseen back view or a true measurement. Compare the offered variant, quantity, shape, and packaging with the final image before any feed handoff. Keep a real factual main photo rather than using an imagined product concept to represent inventory.

Verify the pictured bundle contents — Count the real included pieces and separate them from decorative props.

03

Verify the hosted asset before submitting

Google needs a direct, crawlable image URL and a clear representation of the product without promotional overlays. Check the actual image URL in your feed workflow; a studio page, a login-gated download, and an expired link are not the same deliverable as a stable hosted file.

Fayvoro has no Merchant Center feed integration, metadata certification, or approval guarantee. Use the handoff card below to make unresolved checks visible. If you cannot verify the generated file and its delivery, keep a real-photo fallback and continue reviewing the scene for another destination that permits it. Inspect Merchant Center’s actual result after submission.

Check whether a product image can be discovered — Audit the image URL, page markup and surrounding product information separately.

Fayvoro download metadata is unverified against Google’s requirement. Resolve the final file’s origin metadata or use a suitable real-photo fallback.

Google’s AI-image and feed-role guidance was checked on 3 October 2026. This temporary card is not saved and does not certify approval.
Direction to try

A useful starting note.

Use this as a starting point, then adjust it for your own product. No prompt can guarantee exact product details.

Use my real product photo as the reference for one in-context scene. Show the whole item on a simple surface with no promotional text, prices, extra units, or invented packaging. I will review product accuracy and the final file’s AI-origin metadata separately.
Before you publish

Check the details.

  • The final generated file’s required AI-origin metadata has been inspected.
  • The exact offered product, variant, quantity, and packaging are correct.
  • The feed role fits the image, and the direct hosted URL can be crawled.
  • A real-photo fallback exists until file and submission checks are resolved.
Common questions

A few things to know.

Can I send a Fayvoro download directly to Merchant Center?

Do not assume it is ready. Fayvoro’s download metadata has not been verified against the requirement. Check the final file, hosting, product accuracy, and current Google guidance first.

Does an AI note on the page satisfy the metadata requirement?

A page caption is different from an embedded image-metadata field. Check the actual final file with a tool or workflow that can inspect IPTC DigitalSourceType.

Does this card inspect metadata or create a feed?

No. It records your own check status while this page is open. It does not read a file, host it, create product data, or certify Google approval.
