All product image guides Product photography cost per image

Budget for images you can actually use.

A generation price and a finished product photo are different numbers. Plan your real product photography first, then estimate the cost of extra scene images using your own acceptance rate and review time.

What this shows

One attempt is not a budget.

The unbranded bottle pair shows an actual Fayvoro generation. It does not tell you how many attempts your product will need or whether the result meets your accuracy rules. Use your own accepted-image count in the worksheet below.

This is one demonstration result; your result may differ. AI can change product shape, color, packaging, labels, and text. Check every important detail against the real item.

02 / A PRACTICAL WORKFLOWSTART WITH YOUR PHOTO
01

Separate the job into image roles

A clear original product photo, detail views, and measurements answer different purchase questions from a styled campaign scene. Decide which views must be photographed and which optional scenes you want to test with AI before comparing quotes.

When requesting a photographer quote, specify products, angles, retouching, usage rights, delivery size, and revisions. A day rate, per-product quote, and per-image quote are not directly comparable until the deliverables match.

  • Keep a real main image when exact packaging or channel rules require it.
  • Budget for a generated lifestyle scene as an additional asset, not a replacement for missing physical details.

Plan a manual product batch — Approve a pilot, track exceptions and keep each source SKU with its outputs.

02

Count attempts, then count accepted images

Fayvoro currently charges one credit for a 1K generation and two for 2K when that option is available. The cost is shown before you submit; a failed generation is restored. A completed but unusable result still needs review and may require another paid attempt.

Use the calculator with the plan price you actually pay, your own accepted-image count, and time spent checking labels and shape. It starts without an acceptance rate because no rate has been measured for your product.

03

Make the decision after a small test

Try one representative SKU and compare its output with the real item at full size. If a label, finish, geometry, or claim must be exact and you cannot approve the result, keep that view with your photographer or use your original photo. If a secondary scene passes review, repeat only the useful direction.

Cost worksheet

Count accepted images,
not clicks.

Enter your own batch results. The plan and credit charges below match Fayvoro’s current catalog; this is an estimate, not a measured acceptance rate or a photographer quote. Confirm prices at pricing before purchase.

Enter completed attempts and approved images to calculate. Empty review fields count as $0, so add labor when comparing real alternatives.

Allocated cost assumes every plan credit is eventually used: credits used × plan price ÷ included credits. The dedicated-batch figure charges the full monthly plan to this batch. Both add your review labor and divide by approved images. Taxes, extra packs, unused credits, refunds, and photographer deliverables are outside this estimate.
Direction to try

A useful starting note.

Use this as a starting point, then adjust it for your own product. No prompt can guarantee exact product details.

Use my uploaded product photo as the reference. Make one calm lifestyle scene on a warm stone surface with the full item visible. Leave room around the product; do not add text, logos, or another product.
Before you publish

Check the details.

  • The estimate includes all paid attempts, not only the images you kept.
  • The accepted-image count uses your own review standard.
  • Time for checking and corrections is included where it matters.
  • The comparison keeps required real photos and licensing in scope.
Common questions

A few things to know.

Is one credit the price of one usable image?

No. One 1K request uses one credit, while your cost per accepted image depends on your plan, unused credits, rejected results, and review time.

Can the calculator prove AI is cheaper than a photographer?

No. Put the same deliverables on both sides of a real quote, including accurate main and detail photos, revisions, and usage rights. The calculator only estimates the Fayvoro side from your inputs.

Are the bottle images a paid customer case?

No. They are an unbranded live service demonstration created for Fayvoro.
